What is the Viksit Bharat Quiz Challenge?
The Viksit Bharat Quiz Challenge is a platform designed for youth aged 15 to 29 years to showcase their knowledge of India’s achievements. The quiz tests participants’ awareness of various milestones in India’s progress across sectors such as technology, governance, social welfare, and cultural development.
The quiz is an exciting way for young people to learn about India’s transformation, and it is the first stage in a four-step selection process for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, taking place in January 2024.
Quiz Format: Quick, Engaging, and Accessible
The Viksit Bharat Quiz is designed to be brief yet impactful, with 10 questions to be answered within five minutes. The quiz focuses on testing both the knowledge and the quick-thinking abilities of participants. It’s available on the MyGov platform at quiz2.mygov.in.
After completing the quiz, participants will receive immediate feedback on their performance, making it a great learning experience for all involved.
Eligibility and How to Participate
Participation in the quiz is open to all youth between the ages of 15 and 29 years. To participate:
Register on the official MyGov quiz platform.
Complete the 10-question quiz within the five-minute limit.
Once registered, participants can take the quiz at their convenience, making it easy for anyone to join the challenge.
The Significance of Language Diversity in the Quiz
In recognition of India’s diverse linguistic landscape, the Viksit Bharat Quiz Challenge is available in 12 languages:
English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu
This multilingual approach ensures that youth from all over the country, regardless of their regional language, can participate and contribute to the challenge.
From Quiz to Leadership: The Path Ahead
The Viksit Bharat Quiz Challenge serves as the starting point for young leaders. After completing the quiz, the next step in the selection process is a 1,000-word essay competition held from December 8-15, 2024.
Top scorers in both the quiz and essay competition will be invited to attend the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue in January 2024, where they will interact with key policymakers, influencers, and thought leaders.
