Khanapur taluka MLA Dr. Anjali Nimabalkar has accomplished significant development work in Gunji Gram Panchayat during her first term as an MLA. The development work, worth 6 crores, includes the construction of a community centre building, the provision of water tap connections to more than 210 households, CC road and gutter work at ST colony-4, repairs to four approach roads, and the revival of MWS scheme-2.Dr. Nimabalkar’s development work has made a substantial difference in Gunji Gram Panchayat, which is home to seven villages: Ambewadi, Bhalke KH, Bhatawada, Kamataga, Kirawale, Sangargali, and Shimpewadi. The provision of water tap connections to over 210 households is a remarkable achievement, given the limited access to water in the area. The community centre building will provide a much-needed space for community gatherings and events, enhancing social cohesion and community building.
The CC road and gutter work at ST colony-4 and repairs to approach roads will improve infrastructure, making travel safer and more comfortable for villagers. Furthermore, the revival of MWS scheme-2 will ensure the availability of clean and safe drinking water. Dr. Nimabalkar’s work has significantly contributed to the development of Gunji Gram Panchayat and sets an excellent example for other leaders.
