Chandrababu Naidu Slams AAP’s 10-Year Governance, Calls for Change in Delhi
In a significant political move, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched a scathing critique of AAP’s decade-long rule in Delhi, calling it a failed governance model that has failed to address the city’s pressing issues. Speaking to the press during his campaign for BJP, Naidu stressed the need for a leadership change in Delhi, urging voters to choose the BJP in the 2025 elections.
The Failed Governance Model of AAP in Delhi
Naidu made it clear that AAP’s 10 years in power had not resulted in meaningful progress for Delhi’s development. “For the last 10 years, the governance in Delhi has been totally ineffective. It’s a failed model,” Naidu declared. He questioned AAP’s commitment to creating wealth and sustainable development, adding that without wealth creation, the government had no right to distribute it. “Where is the wealth creation? There’s no clear model of development, and without that, how can they distribute resources?” he asked.
Infrastructure Development Stagnates Under AAP’s Leadership
Naidu’s critique also focused on the stagnation in Delhi’s infrastructure. Despite the success of the Delhi Metro, Naidu pointed out that little progress had been made in other critical areas, such as healthcare, water supply, and urban planning. “After the Metro, there’s nothing. Delhi still lacks adequate hospitals, water supply systems, and urban infrastructure,” he said. The lack of forward-thinking policies and development plans, Naidu argued, has kept the city in a state of stagnation.
Delhi Faces Pollution Crisis: A Threat to Public Health
One of the most concerning issues Naidu highlighted was the alarming level of pollution in Delhi, which he referred to as a “health hazard” for its residents. He stated that both environmental pollution and political pollution were damaging the capital. “Everyone is worried about staying in Delhi because of the weather pollution and political pollution. Both of these are dangerous for health,” Naidu said, emphasizing the urgency of addressing the pollution crisis.
Naidu Calls on Delhi Voters and Telugu Community to Support BJP
In his address, Naidu directed a specific appeal to the Telugu community in Delhi, urging them to support the BJP. He emphasized that the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership could bring about the change that Delhi desperately needs. He also reached out to all Delhi voters, asking them to make their voices heard in the 2025 elections and vote for a government that would work to improve the city’s infrastructure and welfare programs.
Time for a Change in Delhi’s Governance
Naidu’s remarks are likely to resonate with voters who are dissatisfied with AAP’s leadership and the lack of meaningful development in Delhi. His call for a change in governance reflects the growing frustration among residents, especially in light of persistent pollution and stalled infrastructure projects. With the 2025 elections approaching, Naidu’s attack on AAP’s governance is expected to play a significant role in the ongoing political discourse.
